
Haoyu Niu (b, 1996, China), is a visual artist whose multifaceted artistic practice and research delve into the complexities of contemporary society and the fictionalization of history. His work critically analyzes power structures, visual politics, individual destinies, and marginal cultures. Primarily utilizing photography and video, Niu Haoyu expands his artistic practice through sound, writing, and social engagement. His documentary filmmaking recently earned him the Best Documentary Award at the Korea International Short Film Festival.
