Dreaming of Peach Blossom Spring, also known as The
Red-Robed Horse, is a documentary based on more than
a year of continuous observation and filming of a
homeless man from my hometown, whose distinctive
personality makes him an unforgettable figure. Every day,
he dresses himself as a police officer and roams the
streets of the city. As the city continues to change, the
relationship between the homeless man’s dreams and the
urban environment gradually evolves, reflecting the
subtle impact of urban transformation on an individual’s
inner world.
